PILOTS REPORT A UFO 1 MILE WIDE..
Two airline pilots on seperate flights saw something up to a mile wide off the coast of Alderney on Friday the 27th of April 2007.
Jersey radar did not pick anything up on there radar equipment, although an air traffic controller said that he had reiceved reports from the Aurigny and Blue Island pilots.
Aurigny's Captain Ray Bowyer, 60, said that he saw the strange object during a flight from Southampton.
He spotted a bright-yellow light about 10 miles west of Alderny while the plane he was flying was about 30 miles from the island and he was flying his plane at around 4,000ft.
It was a very sharp, thin yellow object with a green area. It was about 2,000ft up and stationary, he said.
"I thought it was about 10 miles away, although i later realised it was approximately 40 miles from us. At first, i thought it was the size of a 737"
A 737 is slightly smaller than a Jumbo Jet. But it must have been much bigger because of how far away it was. It could have been as much as a mile wide.
As he continued his approach to Alderney, Ray Bowyer saw another object identicle to the first one further to the west.
"It was exactly the same but looked smaller because it was further away, it was closer to Guernsey"
The sighting happened at about 3pm. Capt Bowyer, who has flown commercial planes for around 20yrs said he has described the objects to air traffic control and filled in an incident report.
Paul Kelly, 31, the air traffic controller who was on duty at the time said, the Blue Island pilot had made a similar report but nothing had shown on his radar either.
The pilot from the Blue Island was flying to Jersey at the same time and as he was flying past Sark he described an object behind him to the left.
The overall description was almost the same as Capt Bowyer's and they had both seen this object in exactly the same place but were looking at it from opposite sides.
CHILEAN ARMY SPOKESMAN.
"UFOS ARE REAL"
The Chilean Army have released classified material to the UFO community which they have been keeping secret for over 30 years.
They involve photos and recordings of military pursuits involving UFOs. The evidence was presented at the 10th International UFO Congress, highlighting the display of a video that captures a UFO pursuit by surface vessels and helicopters of the Chilean Navy seven years ago, according to a Chilean spokesman.
Another pursuit took place on March the 27th when a Citation 2 military aircraft crossed an unidentified flying object, measuring 40 meters in length, at an altitude of 1000 meters and 1000 kilometer away from the Chilean capitol.
UFO SIGHTING OVER DUMFRIESSHIRE.
A woman from Tinwald near Dumfries claims to have seen a tubular shaped object hovering in the sky on her way home last Thursday.
She was driving along Kirk Brae from the A701 at around 8pm when the object swooped down above her car.
As she slowed down to take a closer look, the UFO stopped within three meters off her car before darting off at " Lightening speed"
The mother, who asked not to be named, told the Standard.
"It was a dark, tube-shaped object with a sharp beaming light on the end of it"
"It appeared in front of my car but the most eerie thing was that it was very quiet, it made no sound that i could hear"
She said that the object stopped above her, halfway along the road before the entrance to Tinwald Manse.
"It was like nothing i had ever seen before and i was very surprised but not at all scared"
"In fact, i dont think that i had time to be scared as it all happened so fast"
"It was a very clear night and it was definatly a UFO, that is the only way i could descibe it"
The woman reported the sighting at the Dumfries Police Station.
She said Police told her that they had similar reports recently including one report of which resulted in a search of the Lochar Moss area.
UFO SIGHTING IN SUSSEX.
Stewart Hall of Hove and his son Rapheal believe that they may have captured a UFO on film.
Residents from the area have reported two seperate sightings of a strange object hovering over Sussex.
One family even believe that they have captured a strange silver coloured craft on film as it drifted over Hove Park.
The night before four strange orange orbs were reported floating across Shoreham. The Argus was flooded with calls last November after these strange orange lights were seen hovering over the Sussex coast.
People thought that they could have been watching beings from another planet.
They were later dissapointed to find out that they were probably duped by a hoaxer using Chinese lanterns which were bought off the Internet.
However Mr Hall of Hove has said that what he and his son observed were not these lanterns as what they saw was a different shape.
He added,"My video camera has a 3 times zoom so the footage is not conclusive but experts could probably make something of it"
"I did get a clear view of the object through my binoculars and i can assure people that this object had no wings or windows and appeared to be cigar shaped"
"I am sure that hundreds of people must have seen it because it looked like it was heading towards Hove Park.
FAMILY FRIGHTENED BY UFO.
A Hertforshire family feared for their lives when a UFO plummeted from the sky, heading streight for there home.
Reports of a UFO poured into the Mercury after reports of a cylindrical object was spotted on Monday around 4pm.
None was more dramatic than a report from a Mrs Abbess who lives on the Sele Farm Estate.
She said, "My little boy was playing on his trampoline in the garden when he said, Look at that blck spot in the sky, mum.
" At first i thought is was a ballon which was very highj up but then it started to fall at such a high rate of speed, so we all took shelter in the house believing that it was going to land in the garden!
We nervously went back outside to take a look and it had just come to a dead stop, it was weird.
"It was sausage shaped and very dark in colour, it was'nt a Zeppelin and there was no engine noise what so ever, just totally silent"
UFO SIGHTING IN WHITBY.
An unidentified flying object was seen hovering over a field near Staithes by a teenager returning home.
Steven Dye (18) who lives in the area, says he saw the object hovering silently close to were he was driving in the visinity of Staithes, Steven was heading towards Boulby at around 8pm.
He said, " I saw something floating in between Staithes and Hinderwell from where i was looking. It had about eight lights, red and orange coloured and it just stayed in the same place for about 10 or 20 seconds before fading away, its the first time that i have ever seen anything like this. I told my mother and we went back down there later but the object had gone"
BRIGHTON UFO MYSTERY.
Witnesses said thousands may have seen the bizarre floating orbs.
Air-traffic controllers at Shoreham Airport and Brighton Police said they had received inquiries about the UFOs, with as many as eight in the sky at one time.
James Gordon-Johnson, of Preston Park Avenue, Brighton said he was leaving a restaurant in Shoeham with his brother at 11.30pm when he saw" what appeared to be a very big orange light in the sky"
He added"It was very, very bright but static-it was'nt rising or falling. Another one then appeared in mid-air, then another"
"It must have been somewhere over Hove Lagoon but the lights were so bright thousands of people must have seen them.
"The next morning i got a phone call from a friend of mine who saw the exact same thing"
Mark Sztopel, from Brighton, told the Argus he saw seven lights moving slowly in an easterly direction across the city at around midnight.
He added"I'm a big plane enthusiast so i now what the lights and characteristics of a plane look like at night, and i can tell you now that these definitly were not planes"
A spokeswoman for Shoreham Airport said staff had received emails from people inquiring about glowing objects in the sky.
Police said they too had received a report from a man in Hove who said he saw "approximatly eight planes coming in over the sea with no flashing navigation lights, towards Gatwick, in a dead line"
Officers contacted air traffic controllers at Gatwick who said they know of no movement in the area.
Mr Gordon-Johnson, 33, said;" These were not meteors- theres no way they were meteors. They were far too big and bright and low in the atmosphere"
"They looked like they were about 3,000 or 4,000ft up. As i kept looking at them they just sat there. I was trying to think of explanations but could'nt think of one"
"It was very odd. If it was just a balloon you would'nt have seen another just appear at the same altitude. There was no sound. Nothing at all"
MYSTERY OBJECT FALLS IN SOMALIA..
(APRIL 2007)

The device is occupying in an area of one hundred meters square as villagers who spotted this device confirmed to Shabbelle Radio.

Llyas spoke of the device, telling that in the daylight it glitters and in the nightime, it lights up and speaks a strang language which cannot be understood by the villagers.
The impact of the unidentified object has killed a camel which was grazing nearby.
Also because of the remoteness of the area in which it fell, news of the said object is emerging gradually now despite its fall of five days ago

UK MoD OPENS FILES ON UFOs..
The Ministry of Defence plans to open its "X FILES" on UFO sightings to the public for the first time. Officials have not yet decided on a date for the release of the reports, which date back to 1967, but it is hoped to be within weeks.
The move follows the decision by the French national space agency to release its UFO files in March, the first official body in the world to do so.
UFO buffs will be keen to find out what officials knew about some of the UKs most famous sightings and whether any action was taken, if any.
One celebrated event- Rendlesham Forest, Suffolk, in 1980-has been dubbed "Britain's Roswell" after the UFO incident in the US in 1947.
At Rendlesham Forest there were several witness reports of a UFO apparently landing.
The released files should support or discount claims that radiation was detected at the site after the event.
David Clark, a lecturer in journalism at Sheffield Hallam University and auther of Flying Saucerers: A Social History of Ufology, said opening the MoD's files would make it harder to sustain the idea that evidence for the existance of aliens has been suppressed.
"The more of this stuff that they put on their website or put in the archives, the less it will cost the taxpayer, because at the moment people are writing in about individual incidents and they are having to respond", said Dr Clark, referring to requests under the Freedom of Information Act.
The documents due for release are witness reports of apparent UFO sightings, many by civil pilots and military personnel.
Most were simply collected and filed by a small, secret unit within defence intelligence called D155.
A few are thought to have been investigated further by the military, but the details have never been made public. There are 24 files due for release, each containing 200-300 reports of sightings, plus internal MoD briefings and correspondance.
CANADIAN UFO REPORTS STILL COMING IN..
APRIL 2007.
736 reported UFO sightings across Canada last year shows an "underlying, real phenomenon" going on,says one of the country's top UFO researchers.
"Its true, we dont have as many aliens on TV as we used to-they used to be on commercials selling us everything from Pepsi to decongestants," said Chris Rutowski, director of the Winnipeg-based Ufology Research institute.
"And yet the phenomenon persists, which to me says there is a basic underlying, real phenomenon that extends beyond media and pop culture."
Rutkoski's annual Canadian UFO Survey last year recorded the third largest numberof sightings in it's 17 year history-down from a record of 882 sightings in 2004.
British Columbia and Ontario had the highest number of recorded cases, but Saskatchewan posted an all-time record of 98 sightings.
The tiny community of Maidstone, just east of Alberta boundary, accounted for more than half of the reports from Saskatchewan..
POLICE FLOODED WITH UFO CALLS..
MARCH 2007
Residents who are living in the Waterloo area of London saw an unusual display of lights in the night sky around 8.oclock one evening.
Residents were discribing a fiery display shooting across the evening skyline. Some residents were that worried that what they were seeing a plane falling from the sky they rang the local authorities, and airports, but local airports reported no downed planes on that evening.
Within a few minutes, multiple calls came in from St.Clements to Cambridge, said Sgt.Havill of the Waterloo regional police.
"We did some searching around but we do not have any idea as just it was these people had seen"
"There were hundreds of calls but our searches turned up blank"
Police in Guelph had calls about the same sightings and promptly phoned the OPP to go and check these sightings out, said Sgt Neil Young.
"It was on the west side of town, something like flames falling from the sky"
A woman named Marie Keyes was driving home along Weber St with her husband when she saw what she initially thought was a shooting star or fireworks. When she looked closer, she saw an object with a trail of sparks arching towards the ground.
"I screamed "look at that!" she said, "It was amazing, it was such a shock when it came into view in my windscreen.
It kind of like just dropped right out of the sky"
"It was too low to the horizon, and too big to be a shooting star, i saw a blueish flame coming out of the end of it, and it had a tail which looked like sparks"
About a quarter of an hour earlier, in the parking lot of restaurant, Mrs Keyes and her husband saw bright lights moving overhead.
"These rectangular-shaped objects moved"unusually" and didnt look like "a typical airplane" she said..
SEPTENBER 2007.
UFO SEEN OVER MERSEYSIDE..
On Sunday the 25th of July, Lee Jones of Anfield looked up at the sky from his garden and saw an enormous saucer shaped craft emerge from a cumulus cloud and just hang in the sky above him.
The UFO was so large, a passing airliner was dwarfed against it, Lee estimates the size of the UFO at over a mile in diameter.
He then went back into his home to tell his wife and mother in law, they too saw the huge craft which they all described as the colour of grey gun metal.
After about 15 mins the huge UFO was nowhere to be seen, had something of this size taken off at high speed a sonic bang would have been heard and also have been heard all over Merseyside but nothing was heard or reported.
Back in January of this year, a Mr Fraser of Childwall was taking a nightly stroll down Menlove Avenue when he noticed several lights in the night sky.
Mr Fraser then realised that these lights were infact attatched to something of an enormous size.
The huge craft then very slowly from the direction of Halewood across the night sky, and Mr Fraser and a female passer-by then watched it head off the the direction of Netherley.
Another witness says that it was the size of a Cathedral.
UFO BLOWS UP OVER NEW JERSEY??
SEPTEMBER 2007..
A mysterious giant "Fireball" was spotted exploding over the ocean off the Jersey shore but officials had no idea as to what it was.
The unidentified falling object was first seen around 8.40pm, by people on Normandy Beach in Ocean County, and was also spotted as far away as Fire Island and Carolina it was said by officials.
"It was dispatched as a fireball, out over the ocean, going into the ocean"
Deputy Chief Tim Cook of the Toms River, NJ, Fire Department told the Post.
At least 15 people on the beach at the time all described the same thing, he said.
" It was a huge fireball that came down and sort of dropped down into the ocean"
Coast Guard helicopters were despatched, but nothing was found, said Coast Guard spokesman Petty Officer Nyx Cangemi.
"Its a real mystery" He added.
"We have had no planes reported to be missing, said agency spokesman Jim Peters who said that he checked the area airports and nearby McGuire Air Force Base.
POLICE HAVE UFO ENCOUNTER IN BROMLEY.
AUGUST 2007..
Police Officers from Bromley found themselves in the middle of something resembling a science fiction film one night in August. All around them were flashing and pulsating red lights and they could hear a whirring sound.
Their report was filed among hundreds of others in a secret government storage facility. Now, less than four years on, their story can be finally be brought to light thanks to a freedom of information request.
However Met police were reluctant to elaborate any further on what was released by the MoD.
The accounts are varied and in some cases a little bit bizarre.
A massive light, shaped like an iron that hung in the sky without moving was spotted in Orpington in 2005.
In Grove Park, Bromiley, witnesses saw a black ruler-shaped object move across the moon and then disappear in 1998.
The Kentish Times reported how in April this year, a couple Stacey Shaw and her boyfriend Gavin Drummond saw burning balls of fire in the night sky.
They had seen them hovering over the Tollgate Hotel roundabout, next to the A2, they followed one light to the site of an old BP petrol station in their car.
She said "When we got there it just shot up into the sky really quickly. That was the most amazing part, the way it moved so fast"
In south east London witnesses spoke of a cigar shaped object that looked like a brick side on, which accelerated to a speed that was faster that a fighter plane.
