Around the beggining of June a woman from Great Lever had a sightings of a strange cross shaped UFO whilst driving along Lever Edge Lane and was seen to be emiting some strange coloured lights from the underneath.
She says that there was no sound and at first she thought it was a plane.
She proceeded to get out of her car to have a better look at the object.
She can only describe the object as being cross shaped with red lights underneath and there was no sound at all coming from the said UFO.
This sighting was witnessed around 7pm.

SIGHTING IN THE TROUGH OF BOWLAND 27TH OF AUGUST 2006

On the 29th of August 2006 i received an email off a gentleman from Burnley telling me that he had been to visit the area known as the Trough of Bowland.
Whilst he was there he took a few pictures of the surrounding area.
He then got the pictures developed when he noticed that there was an object on one of the pictures and also had said that there was nothing on the one before or the one after meening something on the lense.

The picture shows an object above a grassy ridge about 3 miles from Dunsop Bridge travelling towards Lancaster.

We find this picture very interesting.

UFO SIGHTING OVER ST HELENS. 19/1/07.

A Ufo sighting was reported to us on the 23rd of January from Mr D.Dooley who lives in St Helens which was a visual sighting on the 19/1/07.

I got a call from my dad asking me to lookin the sky over the Saints ground (rugby ground) he and his friends were on there way home and had spotted 3 lights in the sky.I got my binoculars and went into our back garden to inspect these lights.

As soon as got out into our back garden i spotted three orange lights floating side by side quite slowly, this definatly was;nt a flair as they were travelling sideways at a speed faster than a flair would travel ( wind drift) and especially on a night like tonight-wind free.

FLYING TRIANGLE IN BOLTON SKIES ?

Over the last 6 weeks or we here at BUFOS have received numerous calls about a triangular shaped craft seen as far away as Bristol.

DECEMBER 2007..

Also BUFOG (Birmingham Ufo Group) have sent me a couple of emails as well as a drawing done by a witness from Birmingham to show exactly what they had seen in the night sky.

Last Thursday evening around 8pm i received a call from a gentleman saying that he had seen a giant leaf shaped object just hovering in the night sky.
Also he had his son with him and he also saw this object.
Unfortunatly this gentleman did not say wether on not their were infact lights attached to the object and also didnt mention the size also,hopefully if he reads this report he might get back to us.

It seems that this Triangle mystery is beggining to raise its head again after lack of sightings of this object for the last 5 years or so.The amount of sightings of this Flying Triangle was astounding in the late 90s but lets just wait and see.

Another report possibly of the same craft came to us via email on the same night but the time the person saw this was at 10.30pm, the triangular shaped craft was seen in Skelmersdale but the witness has said that he did see lights on the underneath of the craft,red in colour, one red light at each point and one in the middle of the craft.

UFO SIGHTING OVER BURY(LANCS)

A sighting was reported to us which took place on New Years Eve 2007 from a lady in Bury Lancashire, i have changed her name to protect her identity, here is her account of the event in her own words.

(We had been invited to a New Years Eve party,but were unable to go so my partner, son and myself were watching the Take That live show on TV and when Big Ben started to chime we went outside to see the fireworks, my son and myself decided to get a better view from the Velux windows in his attic room.
There are three South facing windows and one North. We opened the windows and had a great view towards the Beetham Tower in Manchester.
We saw an assortment of fireworks which did all he normal things when my son saw what he thought was a rocket about to burst but it didnt.
I then saw a bright orange ball of light flying from the South towards us, we could hear no sound from any engines( we can normaly hear engine noise very well from here) ant it didnt have any lights that would show it was a helicopter or plane. It seemed to slow down or wobble a bit (i said to my son it looks like something i had seen some months earlier when i was stood on my front doorstep with my young Grandson, it was the same size and colour and it flew from the same direction.
Me and my Grandson ran through the house to the back door and saw it dissapear over the roof tops towards the North.)

I told my son to get his phone quick so he could take a picture, but he was too slow and could not get a good shot, then we saw another light appearing from the same direction this time he was able to get some clearer pictures which are the ones i have sent to you.
The first three are of the light as it first approached through the South window and the last two are as it flew over from the North window which were both open at the time.

We then saw a third light which my son decided to video on which you can hear me shouting to my partner to come and see the strange lights,(i am unable to trasfer it onto the computer properly but you are welcome to see it if you like) We watched as it went in the same direction as the previous two, to the Northwest till it faded out of sight. There were no more sightings after that.
It was about six or seven minutes in total from start to finish.

STRANGE ORBS SIGHTING.

Another sighting was reported to us from a Miss Rachael Sheppard who is from Radcliffe on the 13th of August 2007 and the time was 20.44, the picture can be enlarged if you are able to do that and take a look at the bottom of the swirly cloud formation their are a number of anomalies just below it.
Rachael says that she was stood on her back door step when she took this picture.

SOUTH WALES UFO?

I had a phone call on the 19th of January around 3pm from a gentleman from Nottingham named Ray Wittington who began telling me that there is an anomily just off the coast of South Wales which looks remarkably like a UFO hovering just above sea level.

I logged on to Google Earth and followed his directions to the spot he was telling me about and low and behold it was there, wow, and Google have not even taken this off yet i suggest that everyone who sees this to down load it or print it off its fatastic.

Their is though the thought that this object is possibly man made and does look very much like an off shore sewage waste disposal plant.

UFO SIGHTING IN HUDDERSFIELD 1979.

Without a doubt their are people out there who have reason to believe that they have seen what they believe to be a UFO but have never come forward to report their sighting or do not know who to report the sighting too, years may pass, but the memories of what they have seen stay with them, this is one sighting that took place many years ago and the witness has now come forward, i have changed the gentlemans name to protect his identity but when he reads this he will know who he is....

I have been fascinated in flying saucers since 1979 when my wife and i saw one in the sky, about 150 yards away at rooftop level. It was coming into land and was completely silent. Lights of yellow, orange and red around the circumference flashing on and off.
Then on the 30/3/1998 (almost 10 years ago) my wife and i were on our way to The Three Acres Inn and Shelly near Huddersfield (we live in Ossett near Wakefield) and as we drove along i saw a strange flourescent, abient light, near a farm houses we approached the Inn, at first i thought it was the farmer having an out door party, but as i drove along i was able to see exactle what it was.
Before my eyes a flying saucer on the ground began to ascend into the sky and rotated and lifted off right in front of my car windscreen we almost flew into the Inn as we were panicked by it-(only 300 yards away)

We shot into the car park and looked into the sky and it was at the edge of space, and in no more than 60 seconds had elapsed from us seeing it at ground level in "Prepare for takeoff mode" than it being a a a dot in the night sky. What sort of acceleration is that?

The next day i was talking to a client of mine(i am a accountant) and i mentioned the subject to him and to my amazement he and his family had seen the same object earlier on the same night from a different perspective.
By the way, this incident took place almost below the Emley Moor TV Mast at 10pm. The client and his family were there earlier in the evening so the men working at the TV mast MUST have seen it and if not made a video recording of it, yet not a word about this featured on local TV news.

A couple of days later i was in my office, it was about 7pm and a helicopter flew over, this is not uncommon but on this occasion it swung around and turned its beam on and shone it through the window of my office right at me, it then flew off, i could see no markings on this black helicopter.

Since then i have researched this subject and not a day goes by without reading something that is happening in the UFO research world, this is a fascinating subject..

UFO SIGHTING OVER LITTLE HULTON.

We have had a UFO sighting reported to us from a gentleman who is married with children and has lived in Little Hulton for the last 5yrs or so, he is not affraid to have his name mentioned on this report but we have a policy that we do not put forward the name of anyone who sends or reports to Bufos a sighting of any nature.

Approx date and time/2.50am 19th of May 2008.

I had come down from bed to get a drink, and decided to have a cigarette out in the back garden. I often stargaze or watch the air traffic above my house, and am aware of the busy commercial flight paths that criss cross the airspace in this area (LITTLE HULTON). Looking from the garden i noticed a light appear on the horizon, initially it resembled a star in size and colour, but in the wrong place...I presumed it was a distant jet on approach to Manchester. It seemed to keep a constant bearing and altitude, cruising towards me.

It was'nt untill it came closer that i started to think that there was anything unusual about it, it just got bigger. It maitained it's constant luminous orb shape, a bright white(ish) light, i say this because when it passed overhead and towards the Eastern horizon it kept this uniform light and shape. I mean, if it was an aircraft on a cloudless night, the three different coloured lights would have become apparent after it's apex above me at least.

When above me it was the size of a five pence piece, 50 times that of a star,...and suggested that if it was an aircraft that it was low enough to work out and also hear!
It continued silently off towards the adjacent horizon. On it's own i may well have dismissed it, even though it was bemusing. But then another light appeared from the South, just as the first was becoming very distant and about to curve out of sight. This second light just seemed to appear out of nowhere, as the sky was clear this puzzled me and gave more relevence to the first orb.
It slowly moved North and by the size of it appeared to be higher or smaller than the first.

2 or 3 minutes then i heard the engine noise of an incoming jet, so i got myself ready to laugh off my UFO!! But the plane was coming in from the North heading towards Manchester Airport, it was in a decent and quite low. The light seemed to be above the flight path and drifting in the opposite direction towards the plane, and as i saw the plane appoach,(keeping both objects in my perifferal vision) the light just vanished! i mean right in front of my eyes, gone, no clouds, nothing. I searched the sky but it was nowhere to be seen.

I know the usaul descriptions of UFOs and people say that there was a pulsating light or a humming sound, but i just saw a perfect orb of light that kept it's shape and size, but believe me when i say that it was no aircraft. It was too big and had no noise, and then the second one really gave me the goosebumps.
I did not see a saucer or any grand acrobatic display...but tell me what can appear and disappear in a second?
Thinkingback, the first light was amazing and huge...i'm sorry that i can't estimate the altitude or anything, all i can say is that the thing was just a ball of light on a constant course and it made no noise at all. I know for sure what it wasn't, bnut what could they be?

I'm sorry that my story is not too exiting and that i did'nt take any pictures, although they would have just shown a bright light in the night sky!
I have not told many people because of the reaction it would receive and i did not call the Police or the MoD as i was unsure of what i saw in the first place.

As a person of average intelligence i know that i saw something unusual that night, if not incredible.
I am of sound mind and was not intoxicated at the time, and my vision is pretty good!

UFO SIGHTINGS OVER BOLTON.

On the 26th of December two seperate people had seen what they can only describe as glowing balls of red or orange balls in the night skies over the Bolton area and both people who have described what they had seen both state that these sightings took place at around 9pm.

Both contacted me via email one of them was female the other i have no idea whom he or she was. The woman from Bolton i have changed her name so as not to be identified.

Mary sent me an email stating that around 9pm on the 26th of December that she was having a party, there was around 10 people who witnessed these balls of light in the night sky and on the same evening another person witnessed the same sighting from Hacken lane in bolton who was at the time visiting friends.

Now here is the kicker!

I suppose some people reading this will more than lickely be thinking, oh yeh, Xmas plenty of beer and lager flowing more so at a party, well.
A friend of mine was working the night-shift on the 28th of December and was listening to Talk Radio as they always have a phone-in, and the subject of that evening was , yes you guessed it, UFOs.

People from as far away as Bradford had seen the same red or orange balls of light in the night sky at the same time, 9pm.

Then the radio station started to get calls from as far as the South Coast as one guy rang in to say that he lived on the top floor of a block of flats overlooking the sea, but would not say where abouts just the South Coast and had seen these objects coming in from across the sea around 8pm on the same evening.

The sightings on the 26th of December were litterally across the board
from Bradford all the way down to the South coast so not everyone is going to be intoxicated and also these balls of lights were in view as some people are saying for around 2-3 minutes so that also counts out fireworks.

If anyone else has seen these balls of light can they please get in touch and especially if you have any video footage or photo's..

WHERE THEY LIKE THESE I WONDER AS THIS WAS TAKEN OVER LITTLE HULTON LAST YEAR..

GREAT BALLS OF FIRE!!!

Over the last few weeks we here at Bufos have been inundated from members of the public in regards to strange red lights in our skies, we have received umpteen emails as well as numerous phone calls from all over the N/West.
As we are slowly beggining to realise, these (red balls) of light are not just being spotted,seen,videoed and photographed around our N/West region they have also been seen down on the south coast as well. I must admit that these lights have got us ALL baffled as to their origin.

The Sun newspaper reported on the 27th of January that a number of people in a Yorkshire pub in Nether Poppleton had caught these (red balls of light) on somebodys mobile phone. The pub was the Lord Nelson which is on High Street, the landlords name is Keith Geldred.
I contacted Mr Geldred the same day and asked him in his own words just what it was that they all saw that night.
He seemed a little reluctant at first but he soon got into the swing of things and began to tell me just what he did see on that night along with a few other regulars to his pub.
As reported by the Sun the blackout only lasted for around a minute but he says that it was very eerie to say the least, then he began to tell me about a phone call that he had taken not long before i myself rang.

A woman from Glasgow in Scotland had rang him to say that the strange lights that he and a few others had seen had also been spotted by her, and she had got them on camcorder!
Mr Geldred forwarded on the phone number to the reporter at the Sun newspaper in the hope that her story would be printed also just to verify his story too, but as far as i am aware no story has been printed to date.

As i have allready stated, we have been inundated with emails regarding these strage lights of late.
One email in particular has stood out from the rest as the guy who sent it also sent two photos as well! Now as far as i am aware no one has managed to take still photos of these objects, plenty of video footage but no photos, so well done to you matey!

The email was from a guy named Lee and is from Prestolee, Stoneclough.

The email reads...

"Last night i was out in my backyard in Prestolee having a smoke, i always look up in the sky at night and last night i'm so glad i was doing, as i know for sure what i saw was no plane or helicopter.

It was bright orange and shaped in a church steeple sort of shape.(only way i can descibe it)
It was rounded though so had a fuller shape than a cross.
It just moved, i would say as fast as a plane moves across the sky, but made no noise.. I watched it go over the houses at the back of my house and as i took a picture on my phone it suddenly started reversing back in my direction, then it just stopped, then moved downwards as if it was landing horizontally in the fields at the back of the houses."
