RIPPERSTON FARM A TRUE STORY OF ALIEN VISITATION
1187 hits
Over the last 10 years or so we have dealt with numerous accounts of sightings of UFOs etc as wellas possible alien abduction cases but the one case if any which stands out above the rest is the Ripperston Farm case which happened back in 1977.
The case itself involves a family named Coombs and involved police officers from around Pembrokeshire, South Wales.
To start with i came across a book on a carboot sale in Horwich, my home town, it was a bit tatty and i only paid about 50p for it but thought it might be an interesting read.
What i read within the pages shocked me to be honest, and to think what they must have gone through was frightening.

It would take me all day to explain what exactly went on down there but i can give you a brief insight.

Everything started one morning back in 1977 when Pauline Coombs was in her kitchen on Ripperston Farm, she began to wash the dishes   in her sink and happened to glance out of the window and noticed a bright light in the sky at the back of the farm house, Pauline called for her husband Billy who by the time he had gotten there this light had dissapeared. Pauline explained what she had just seen but to be honest Billy thought she was just seeing things.
A few days later there children were playing at the back of there farm which overlooks St Brides Bay when they came running in and shouting that they have seen two silver suited beings walking on the Stacks Rocks.
Now the Stacks Rocks are about a quarter of a mile out in the sea of St Brides Bay.
Both Pauline and Billy went to the overlook of Brides Bay about 200 yards from the farmhouse and noticed that there were indeed two figures on the rocks.
From then on things started to happen around the farm, ie, tv sets blowing up and just about anything electrial failing to work, in the space of 12 months Billy had to by no less than 4 new cars as they just refused to run after a while.
A few occasions the police were called in as the family suspected intruders on there land because of the unexplainable events that were taking place in and around there farm.

One night late in July of that year Billy had worked hard all day on the farm was herding his cattle into the large wrought iron sheds, he padlocked them in and on turning round to walk back up to the farmhouse he could hear the phone ringing. He hurried up to the house door which was only about 10-15 yards away and picked up the phone to be greeted by a farmer on the other end ranting and raging because Billy's cows were stampieding all over his land.

But they cant be mine as i have just locked them up for the night, Billy explained, but it turnred out that they were his cows but no way could Billy explain how this was.
Now this happened on more than one occasion during that year.

Events took place of all kinds during that year which cannot be explained and not only were the Coombs involved but people from all over that part of Pembrokeshire had sightings of strange lights in the sky and weird happenings.
About 10 miles away from the farm was a military base named RAF Brawdy and even they had got sightings on radar of UFOs going into the sea around St Brides Bay as well as these UFOs landing on farm land in the area.

These events took place for almost a year in that area and just suddenly stopped.

The Coombs family now live in Milford Haven around 20 miles or so from the farm and when we interviewed them back in May 2000 still say that everything that was in the book was true. We were even told of certain things that happened that did not appear in the book but those things shall remain with us.

So after almost 30 years we did get to interview people from those happenings as well as talk to this family who were a little bit shocked to say the least when i showed them the book i had picked up in Horwich.

I could like i say go on all day about this case but it would be easier if you could get hold of a copy of, THE UNINVITED by CLIVE HAROLD.
It has now become a very rare book and you would be lucky to get a copy, but good luck

There is a lot more to it than i have told you here. I have done a talk on this particular senario and to be honest the crowd was left speechless as we have got the photos and also slide film to back up the story.
I have two copy's of this book, one of them is signed by the Coombs family and to us it's just priceless.
If you do ever find a copy of this book i promise you that you will not put it down...
